Struggling With Brain Fog and Lack of Focus?
Do you ever feel like your brain is overwhelmed, heavy, or just foggy?
Brain fog can show up as:
- Difficulty concentrating
- Mental fatigue
- A heavy or pressured feeling in your head
- Feeling overwhelmed by simple tasks
One of the most frustrating parts is this:
You want to focus, but you just cannot.
Brain fog is real. It often shows up during periods of stress or mental overload.
What Causes Brain Fog?
Brain fog is often your body’s response to too much input and not enough recovery.
When you are dealing with:
- Too many tasks
- Ongoing pressure
- Constant stress
Your brain can become overloaded.
That makes it harder to:
- Focus
- Process information
- Make decisions
Instead of moving forward, you end up stuck in frustration and fatigue.
Why Brain Fog Feels So Overwhelming
Brain fog is not just mental. It is physical too.
You may notice:
- Tension or heaviness in your head
- A cloudy or slow feeling
- Trouble staying on task
- More stress because you cannot focus
This creates a cycle:
Stress leads to brain fog
Brain fog reduces focus
Less focus creates more stress
And the loop continues.
What is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)?
EFT, or tapping, is a simple way to calm your body’s stress response.
It involves:
- Gently tapping on specific points on the body
- Paying attention to what you are feeling
This helps shift your body out of overwhelm and into a calmer state, where your mind can start to clear.
A Simple EFT Technique to Clear Brain Fog
You can use this anywhere, whether you are at work, at home, or in the middle of a busy day.
Step 1: Identify the Sensation
Pause and ask:
- Where do I feel this fog in my body?
- What does it feel like? Heavy, tight, dull, pressured?
- On a scale of 0 to 10, how strong is it?
Awareness is the starting point.
Step 2: Setup Statement
Tap on the side of your hand and say:
“Even though I feel this brain fog and it is overwhelming, I accept how I feel right now.”
Repeat this 2 to 3 times.
Step 3: Tap Through the Points
As you tap through each point, say:
- This brain fog I feel
- This overwhelming feeling
- I cannot concentrate
- My brain feels heavy
Let yourself fully acknowledge what is happening.
Step 4: Reassess
Take a deep breath.
Ask yourself:
- Has anything shifted?
- Is the intensity lower?
- Do I feel even slightly clearer?
If needed, go through another round.
Step 5: Second Round, Clearing the Fog
Now begin to shift your language:
- I want this fog to lift
- It is safe to let this go
- My brain can focus and be calm
- I am clearing this fog from my mind
Take another deep breath and check in again.
